Skills for Life

Skills for Life funding provides free training in English and Maths for anyone who hasn't got a GCSE grade C or above in English or Maths.

Most people just need to brush up their spelling or grammar or their fractions a little bit before they sit a short test which will prove the level of skill that they have. This can be very valuable in showing an employer that you have the necessary basic skills to do your job effectively or to progress at work.

It can also really boost your confidence and it will help you achieve other qualifications more quickly.

Skills for Life training is usually free and can be delivered at your workplace if there are a group of you.
